Asante Kotoko will welcome back talisman Emmanuel Gyamfi on Sunday 12th July 2021 when they square off with Bechem United in a mammoth clash at the Bechem Park in matchday 33.
Emmanuel Gyamfi missed the Porcupine Warriors 2-1 win over Division One League outfit Asokwa Deportivo in the round of 16 stage of the ongoing 2021 MTN FA Cup.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association imposed a game-ban on the 26 year old with a fine of GHS 1000 after an off ball incident video saw the midfield dynamo intentionally push the Assistant Referee and a stump on the leg of Inter Allies foward Andy Okpe in matchday 29, a game which saw the Porcupine Warriors 2-1 victors.
Emmanuel Gyamfi will be on the field of play come Sunday after serving his game ban. The midfielder has been one of the standout players for the Porcupines scoring six times in all competitions.
Asante Kotoko would seek to win all maximum points to keep up the pressure on leaders Accra Hearts Oak who lead the summit with difference of three points.
