Young Apostles Club based in Sunyani insists that they won’t boycott the Division One League but they are in full support of the GFA Disciplinary Committee amidst violence in Zone 1.
The Sunyani-based club stated this after the violence between BA United and Real Tamale United game as supporters of BA United attacked match officials.
Zone 1 in the Division One League side condemned the act of some of the clubs who have decided to boycott the league due to violence because they have also suffered those acts.
“Conclusively we wish to firmly reiterate our commitment to the league by this statement, state unequivocally that Young Apostles FC has no intention of withdrawing from the league,” a statement signed by Young Apostles Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Eric Edem Agbana.

“We call on all stakeholders to immediately institute measures, towards forestalling the future occurrence of unlawful conducts that are already destroying the beauty of the game – they gushed.
