Bayern Munich have sorted out the last transfer details with RB Leipzig for the services of defender Dayot Upamecano.
The Bavarians paid the release clause of the French International last May for a reportedly £32m but a final clause in the contract details of the defender meant he had to wait mid of July to begin life with his new side.
Reports indicates that the Bavarians have thrashed an agreement with RB Leipzig which will allow the defender join them this week when their pre-season training kickstarts.
Bayern and Leipzig have agreed to share the salary payment of the defensive rock for July and thus making him eligible to join the German champions for pre-season.
Bayern signed the defensive rock on a five-year contract after beating off stiff competition from the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Dayot Upamecano is expected to jump straight into the heart of defence for the Bavarians after the departure of David Alaba who earlier on also join Real Madrid and free agent Jerome Boateng.
Upamecano will have a full pre-season with Bayern with after the German side rejected the call from the French Football Association for the services of the defender for the upcoming Olympic games.
