Ghana premier league side Legon cities have unveiled the signing of Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan who completed a season-long loan move to the Royals after seeing his contract with Indian top-flight side NorthEast united terminated earlier this year.
The 34-year-old experienced striker was heavily linked to giant Asante Kotoko but after talks broke down, Gyan has signed and will now play for the Accra-based club this season.
The all-time top scorer for Ghana National team is expected to add firepower to Goran Barjaktarevic side who struggle for goals in 2019-2020 truncated league.
The former Sunderland star will likely play his first league game in 17 years for his new club when Legon cities host Berekum Chelsea at the Accra sports stadium on the November 13.
Gyan has played for more than seven different clubs outside Ghana including Udinese, Sunderland, Kayserispor, Shanghai SIPG, Al-Ain etc
