Veteran football administrator and former campaign manager of GFA Capo, Jones Abu Alhassan is the latest person of the Ghana contingent who went for Black stars international friendly games in Turkey has tested positive for coronavirus.
Fellow Ghanaian Bernard Mensah, who plays for Besiktas, Jordan Ayew who plays for Crystal Palace, Joseph Aidoo who place for Celta Vigo, Caleb Ekuban who place for Trabzonspor and Kassim Nuhu all missed their weekend’s club games.
Meanwhile, Ghana Fa has reacted to the development and said they observed all covid-19 protocols during the international break.
”The Ghana Football Association (GFA) contingent adhered to all the strict COVID-19 protocols, before, during and after our stay in Turkey. A minimum of three tests was conducted on players, technical and management team members during the training camp in Antalya.”
The players and Abu are all in isolation for the next 14 days.
