Hearts of Oak striker Kofi Kordzi has spoken for the first time since his transfer saga came into the media space saying the leadership of the club won’t stand in his way if he wants to leave
The muscular striker is linked to a move to a Qatari side for a fee around $150000. The saga has caused disaffection in the Phobia faithful with others casting insults on the leadership of the club for refusing to sell Kordzi.
But speaking to Kumasi-based radio stations the 25-year-old says the fans are wrong to accuse management of trying to block his move from the club
”Hearts management has not told me they will not let me to leave the club for my new offer, the board is in constant negotiations with the agents.”- Kordzi Told Kumasi Fm
”The Hearts team has been there since time immemorial, I have to leave to pavé way for other players, it will be an opportunity to others when I leave. The current players can deliver the job more than some of us who are leaving.” he said.
Kordzi disclosed that there will be a showdown talk with the board on Thursday.
