Reuben Acquah has rejected a new contract offer from LASK Linz, according to a close source, amid continued links to clubs in Europe
The 23-year-old has been one of the standout players in the Austrian Erste Liga 2019/20 season, to reaffirmed his status as one of the most talented midfielders in the league.
The dynamic midfielder joined SV Ried on loan ahead of 2019/20 season and played important role in securing Bundesliga promotion for the first time In four years.
Acquah and [Marcel] Ziegler formed a formidable partnership at the heart of midfield for Gerald Baumgartner team, that won 20 games, drew 4 and lost 6 times in the 30 league games scoring impressive 73 goals and conceding 39 goals on their road to promotion.
His output last season has pushed management of LASK to tame him with contract extension but speaking to Halftimegh.com Acquah said he has rejected the contract

Acquah signed 5-years contract with LASK in 2016 and after series of loan moves, The former Liberty Professionals midfielder believes this is the time to move to a permanent club.
