The 27-year-old was playing for the spanish giant Atletico Madrid but failed to make the Ghana squad for the FIFA U20-world cup that took place at Turkey.
Though Ghana went on to win the bronze medal but Partey failed to make a squad that had a midfield of Ebenezer OFORI, Joseph DUNCAN, Salifu SEIDU, Clifford ABOAGYE, Michael ANABA, Moses ODJER
The trace of these players can not been seen since the tournament but Partey has went on to become one of the best players for Atletico and Ghana Black stars.
