The former Techiman City striker Sadick Abass had earlier alleged that, his moved to Ghana Premier league side Dreams fc fell through because he refused to reduce his age as proposed by Dreams.
The 24-year-old in an interview with Sunyani-based Nimdee Fm opened up about his failed move to Dreams in 2015 and said, The Still Believe club, made a shocking proposal through his agent to reduce his age, so he can be drafted in the National Under 17 Ghana team, Abass who was 19 at the time said, he declined the proposal hence lost the chance to play for them.
Days after making these damning revelations, The Enugu Rangers striker, has made a U-turn, saying his agent misinformed him and has subsequently apologies to Dreams fc and anybody who feels offended by his comments.
“Last Friday I did an interview with Nimdee Fm and said somethings which did not go down well, upon sober reflection, I want to apologies to all Ghanaians and Dreams FC management, it was not my intentions to let it seem as if that’s the habit of the club, with regards to age-cheating, but I was misinterpreted. Regardless, i want to apologize again for my comments, thank you.” He ended.
