The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of former Ghana Premier League champions Ashantigold, Emmanuel Frimpong has noted that the club’s ambition is reaching the semi-final stage of the 2020/21 CAF Confederations Cup competition.
It is remembered that the Ghana football Association (GFA) selected Ashantigold and Asante Kotoko to represent Ghana in next year’s inter-club competitions following the FA’s decision to cancelled the 2019/20 season due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Following this, the newly appointed young and energetic CEO speaking on Kumasi base Nyira FM, cited by Halftimegh.com, indicated that his side are poised to become one of the best teams to compete in the competition hence, target the last four of the prestigious tourney.

Ashantigold were eliminated in the last season competition by Tunisian club RS Berkane.
